  Please "Study" With Jehovah's Witnesses, I beg you!

  if you are a former jw, or just one who is interested enough in the cult to spend time here on jwd, i emplore you to accept a 'bible study' with jehovah's witnesses when they next call and offer.

  by so doing, and having of course a full knowledge of the doctrines and practices they employ, you have a special opportunity!

  jeff: good idea, and i have done this many times , in the past. i have lost the element of surprise in my area. i now use the fast approach, twist a jw on most any topic they bring up. plant my seeds, them offer them a study, or embarrass them for not know knowing what they are talking about. either way. I never shy away. i'm willing to go as far as they can stand. the trick is to learn who you can help , and the ones that are a waist of time. sometimes you get get more done in 15 minutes with a weak jw. than years talking with a total zombie. it's the law of averages. try to talk to as many jw's as possible. you never know who you will help. even if yoiu never see them again. john

  AK jeff ; nice work getting a response from this guy. since this guy is willing to return e mails. i think he should be asked some harder questions like about dying from no blood. etc. he can also be informed that the wts is very heavy into legal matters. and has 1000's of inc's. to protect their $$$$$$$. and a few links about blood may give him something to chew on. john

  So many JW coming to my door/Who is Mediator for Great Crowd?

  ive had a number of witnesses come to my door in the last year.

  i would guess that my mother requested the visits but i dont know for sure.

  i first had two young men come to the door last summer and we talked for quite a while.

  Guest with questions: you asked one of the questions a jw CANNOT ANSWER using just the bible. it seem you know this topic well, stick with your topic ,learn it inside and out. and pound it into the ground with jw's. never let up , push it on them till they fold. never let them change topics. you have already won any arguement with them, just on one topic. remind them of they can't understand this simple teaching that are not qualified to even go into anyother subject as they reject jesus as mediator and they not in the new covent. ask them what covenant are they in? you got them between a rock and a hard place. you need nothing else. you have exposed them. check mate. john

  it makes absolutely no sense that jws expend so much energy, in every way, to keep their very ill "loved one" alive (excluding transfusions and organ transplants).

  then utter such insanity as "the 'thing' is we have the resurrection to look forward to if it doesn't "go well"".. if that is true, and you believe it wholeheartedly, why expend all the energy, in this wicked system of things that jehovah god is going to destroy...soon, so that you will inherite a "new system", to keep him alive in such a 'system'?.

  nice find skally; there were a number of misrepresentations in that piece. one was the idea that 10000 jws were in camps in germany. which is false. it was 10000 arrests of jw's many of the same jw's being arrested dozens of times.

  What did 539 AD mean to Russell?

  i've been writing down russell's chronology (no, i don't believe a word of it).

  he had 539 ad to 1799 ad as 1,260 "days.

  " 1799 ad (the pope had to go to napolean; the ability for the papacy to persecute was waning) to 1914 ad was the end times period.

  ok i forgot this one. but i remember that some jewish rabbi said something about the end of the world in 539A>D> then russell added 1260 years and lo and behold you get 1799 it's in studies in the scriptures. i think it on freeminds . about false prophecies. just more CRAPPOLA

  i can't read every post about how all you x jw's went to the memorial.

  and i don't know how many here still think they are christians?

  but i interested to know if anyone did the christian thing and followed the commandment of jesus.

  trust me i understand why many x jw's go. the good bad and ugly. i only bring out points. like it or not at some point most of the x jw's here will have to make a stand. i feel the memorial is a good time. look little richie rich only 19 years old made his stand for what it's worth. i'm still pissed he didn't partake, but he stood up. that's a lot more than i can say about many others here. who play this game year after year . but come here day after day crying why their jw families give them no respect. john

  i mean you had to love ' THE UNKNOWN WITNESS' the bag over his head sends a message to all the faders trying to hide themselves. they understand it. and thats what counts. i give this guy a lot of credit. he has balls, and he's pissing off the wt . plus he's well spoken. and he knows his shit. just listen to his jc committee on sixscreensof the wt. this guy is no dope. and i sure he will help; at least a few see some light. don't knock this guy. remember Ray franz, olin moyer, ken raines,kent(wtobserver.org) silent lambs ,doc bob, randy, simon etc. the list goes on and on. that's how we all ended up here on jwd. give the guy credit. john
